Florida Largemouth Bass
Florida bass are stocked into lakes that are being managed for trophy bass fishing. These fish are long-lived and can consistently grow over 10 pounds when managed properly.
Northern largemouth bass
Northern bass are stocked when high catch rates are wanted as they are highly aggressive. These fish are feed trained and when managed with the use of a fish feeder and forage can gain a pound a year up to about 6 to 8 pounds.
